My name is Adam Shane and I was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1981. I’m normally passive and controlled, yet I have an intense passion for life and adventure. I have a lot of interests, and I put everything I have into everything I do.
I have the insatiable desire to create things in life. I love photography (especially 360° panoramas), and enjoy making random art, but music and audio are my primary outlets. I play a diverse assortment of instruments, but mainly focus on the drum kit and have performed and recorded with quite a few bands over the years. I’m also an avid songwriter; writing everything from hard rock, acoustic guitar, and a variety of electronic styles. In 2004 I changed my life around. I escaped the cubicle and got involved in what I love... music. It wasn't the same rock star dream I had as a kid; but I was still able to smile every day, enjoying a life working with other musicians as a recording engineer and record producer. For the last few years I've owned a house with a recording studio and have been fortunate to sustain a life through my own business, but times change. I just sold my house and studio, and I'm about to embark on a grand tour of the world. Starting in April 2007, I'm leaving for a multi-year round-the-world trip where I will be trying to play and record music with people from different cultures. I love to go to concerts and parties, as well as pursue activities outdoors like camping, kayaking and hiking. However, I don't mind taking a break from all the activity to relax, watch movies or play the occasional video game. I believe that being able to appreciate all experiences and maintain a positive outlook throughout it is essential to understand contrast and embrace it. I will always cherish the best friends I've made throughout the years, but still love meeting random new people. I think life is full of amazing experiences, and positive influences.
